Alfred C. Evans, who has been critically ill for several weeks, died at his home on East Howard Street at half past 7 on Tuesday evening. Funeral services at the home on Friday afternoon at two o'clock will be in charge of Rev. JO Carder. Masonic ceremonies will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery, if the weather is favorable, otherwise at the home before leaving. - kbz
